Signature Widget on a Mobile Browser - Web Standalone

Post by JereMiami » Wed Mar 05, 2025 10:43 pm

I would like to have the signature widget on my website. It works nicely on a desktop. But, on a mobile browser visiting the page, the browser (safari (ios) & chrome (android)) scrolls and interferes with drawing a signature. The signature widget is working because you will have a dot where you placed your finger, but when you mover your finger the browser scrolls and there is no more input given to the signatuire widget.

Anybody have a suggestion to stop that scrolling?

UPDATE: preventing the browser from scrolling or panning still does not fix the issue. The signature widget only places the initial dot and sill does not track movement.
