Standalone trouble - newcomer

Hello all

I am new to RunRev (bought the bundle just the other day - hard to resist), but did some HyperCard work during the 90-ties – a long time ago. It feels somewhat like a home coming, but someone did some redecorating while I was away. I am now using a MacBook Pro and Leopard.

Well, I managed to fairly painlessly throw together a prototype app for reviewing. Inside the ide all works as expected. I then did the save as standalone procedure. Exporting to Mac, Win and Web. The web thing works, the Win thing works (XP in Paralells) but the Mac standalones (both universal and Intel) do not. Doubble clicking on them gives me the "Genie"-up effect - and nothing more. No error messages, no system messages (that I can find).

Thinking that it may be something wrong with the app I made, I made a new main test stack just containing a button and some text. This also fails to be saved to a standalone. The standalone app is created without any error messages but it will not launch.

(This is a plain install of Revolution Enterprise. No extra plugins or ad ons installed.)

I suppose I am doing something wrong as a RunRev newbie. I have been looking around in the forums and mailing lists to see if this was a problem for others, but have not seen any such reports.

Where do I start to make this work?

Cheers

that's a rather curious find (yes the mac app should "just work") I'd start here:

support AT runrev DOT com

sorry :(
