Now that I have created my cards for a stack in a new Weather Application for my website, I am having an issue grasping the concept of sending data to and receiving data from a web service that was created for my flash applications. I would love to move all of my flash applications to RR with the upcoming release of RunRevMobile product.
The idea of having one code base for desktop, website and mobile applications does have great appeal to me as a developer and working for a local school district which pay is not a top priority with recent budget cuts in the millions of dollars, I am trying to learn this language by searching other posts and utilizing google.
Does anyone have a sample simple stack that can show me how to send information to a web service and display the results from that query on a card of the stack.
The application would be a great showcase for the Runtime Revolution Conference in November and would be willing to do so as long as I can learn what I need to before this conference.
