IDE goes bonkers when...

Post by vidkid » Sun Apr 01, 2007 2:31 pm

in 2.7.4, while editing a series of fields, I attempted to switch between the basic and content views of the field's object properties. The IDE stalled on the 'table' option (which I hadn't selected). I was unable to do anything with the IDE until I attempted to quit Revolution, then the system responded with the do-you-want-save-before-quitting prompt, eventually I was able to successfully quit with my work to that point saved, fortunately. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Is there something that I should be doing differently? I do have about 2 dozen objects on the card I am working with.

Hi vidkid,

This is a known bug in the property inspector (I suspect you accidentally selected the table pane of the property inspector). I it looks like the property inspector gets trapped in an infinite loop and doesn't allow interruption.

As far as I know, there is no patch for this. I'd update to a later version of Revolution, if possible.

Best,

Mark
