I am currently developing a pice of Software that has to be very secure. Therefore I am thinking of multiple factor authentication.

Is there yet any NFC, RFID or Smartcard reader proven to work with livecode? (Either by serial Port or Externals)

A simpler method would be just to use a USB Flash Drive with an encrypted key on it.
We used to call them "dongles".
Seems to me an RFID is still a physical device that can be lost or stolen.

Sorry, Sebast3, but I personally don't know of any device reader examples out there. But I do know that there is an Arduino tool on RevOnline (under User Samples in the LC Menu) that might get help you - possibly! Might be worth talking with Thomas McGrath about it.

errr... what I meant was they were both as vulnerable as each other but the USB was easier to implement.
