Solaris box grayed out

Post by gragon » Wed Sep 02, 2009 7:10 pm

I have the enterprise version, but the Solaris option for standalone building is grayed out. Is there something else I need to buy?

Hi gragon,

There is no recent version of Revolution for Solaris. Those disabled options shouldn't exist at all.

If you would like to create standalones for Solaris and have a recent enterprise license, I'd recommend writing to support and asking them for versions 2.0.3 or maybe 2.2.1, which include the old engines. Also ask them for Rev 2.6.1, which doesn't include the engines but contains an interface to build standalones with all old engines except for the SPARC engine. Move the engines from 2.0.3 to 2.6.1 and you're good to go.

Best regards,

Mark

Thank you. I still have those older versions, so I'll use them for the builds.
