Android Emulator

Hi guys,

Quick question... really important actually lol. Does the free version of Livecode allow you to test your app on the simulator? I have been playing around with it for two days trying to get my app to send to the simulator. I downgraded java and did a whole bunch of fixes that it says on this site. but the darn thing keeps saying:

"unable to build app for testing: could not encode class bundle"

What i did:

*Made sure I used the right version of android (2.2 [android-8])
*made a tools directory in android-8 and copied platform-tools directory into it.
*downloaded that dx file and chmod it

it keeps saying that though. The JDK shows up in preferences->Mobile Support.
Do i need to purchase livecode in order to be able to send it to the simulator?
arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! hah. yes i searched and tried the fixes :/ must be missing something simple.

Edit: You know whats hilarious? I tried the IOS simulator and it worked without a hitch :/ in seconds actually... I just want it too work wahhhhhhhhh
