print problem in windows

Post by a-revuser » Sat Feb 27, 2010 4:56 pm

RunRev have been unable to find a problem with printing from a simple stack in windows. It works on Mac.
Although RR tried to reproduce the problem from the supplied stack, I suspect it was only tried on a Mac.
The problem manifests itself by corrupting the cards (heading alignment) as well as showing the same didtortion in the printout. Simply re-loading the stack will not clear the corruption, Rev has to be re-started.
I have now tried the stack on 2 XP and 1 Win7 pcs as well as in exe form. The problem appears repeatable.
Can anyone advise or confirm the issue so I can go back to RR and get the matter sorted.
The experimental stack is available if you would like to try it.
Thanks in anticipation of your assistance.
E-mail ajperks@tiscali.co.uk and I will get back to you.

Hi a-revuser,

Does this also happen in a standalone?
Can you determine whether the distortion is related to any object? I assume that empty cards print fine, resulting in blank pages being produced by the printer. Can you tell at which point things started to go awry?

Best,
