I do hope to become proficient enough to be able to help others I don't know if you have seen it but I have started another thread on the subject of flash cards as a way of accelerating my learning of LiveCode. Hopefully other beginners will be able to use it too.

Would you mind adding a few Q. and A.'s you think should be learned at the beginning? I need to get about sixty before I can start doing them.

The book has arrived

So hopefully there will be less daft questions maybe

Do you recomend I start at the begining and work though it or dip in and out?

Are you saying that you only have volume 2? There was a printing where this book was broken into two halves. You ABSOLUTELY need to start with volume 1.

Ugh. Hook up with wherever you got only half this work, and see if they have the other.

And yes, start at the beginning, when you actually get it. It is an easy read, and will most importantly give you a complete understanding of the structure of the program, and almost all of the language and message will be exactly the same as for LC.
