LiveCode and iOS 6

how will this affect me if I want to submit my application to the App store?
will they reject my binary because its built on xCode 4.4.1?

I have downloaded xCode 4.4.1 but it doesnt seem to come with IOS6.0 Simulator.
is this an extra package I need to add?

Two things you have to do...

The Simulators and SDKS are unrelated. You have to take care of both.

Simulator. I Xcode go to Preferences and download all the iOS simulators from 4 to 6.

SDK. the New Xcode only has SDK 6, open your old Xcode and move all the SDK over to the same location in your New Xcode.

I tried as you suggested with xCode Preferences but when I search for updates there are no new Simulators to download...

Tried all I could with xCode 4.4.1, moving onto 4.5.1

I'm successfully using Xcode 4.4.1 with LC 5.5.1 to submit to Apple. You're right about the iOS6 simulator... but the apps themselves work on iOS 6.

I managed to get xCode 4.5.1 to work with LiveCode 5.5.2
Can build and run successfully on IOS5.1 and IOS 6.0, simulator 5.1 work fine but 6.0 doesn't work which in no huge deal.
