Hi,
Apparently, if your stack is already open, locking and unlocking the field does the trick, although I must say this is new to me.

New to me too. I'm not sure I'd rely on it but it's handy to know.

An old thread... But FormatForPrinting is -always- a pesky problem on Windows.
(By the way, is it possible to avoid it ? Is there a font on Windows with same result for screen display and printing ?)
I've noticed something though : it's important that the substack has a default font declared.
From the doc :
Important!Fontsinherited from another stack are not updated when you set the formatForPrinting of a stack. If the stack will be printed, make sure that either the stack'stextFontproperty is set to a font name (not set to empty), or all fields to be printed have their own font rather than inheriting it.
