Yes, I am now moving the group, and everything is fine.

I was more focused on the strange behavior of 'move to' compared with 'set the loc of' and had forgotten about the group.

Well, I hadn't used lockloc or set a boundingrec so I don't really know what was happening. Blame it on global warming :)
