set the loc of vs. move to

Essential info. You can use the move command if you move the group instead of a single image.

Yes, I am now moving the group, and everything is fine.

I was more focused on the strange behavior of 'move to' compared with 'set the loc of' and had forgotten about the group.

If your group is already unlocked then I'm at a loss why setting the location is different than moving. They should be the same. See "boundingRect" in the dictionary though, it may be that the group's boundingRect is not empty, which will prevent it from expanding.

Well, I hadn't used lockloc or set a boundingrec so I don't really know what was happening. Blame it on global warming
