I *think* if your system is older than say, 2006, it likely is not uefi.

My system is UEFI . . .

However, I suppose I could try:
makebootable /HaikuMountpoint
and see what happens . . . although the novelty is beginning to pall.

I think something changed since the last time I installed it, the new image I downloaded wouldn't get past finding a partition :(

I am running 64-bit Haiku OS on my 2006 iMac . . .

1. Have to boot every time from the install disk.

2. Keeps dropping the internet connexion.

3. Installed LibreOffice and then wouldn't launch it.

Frankly . . . my idea of a dirty weekend is turning out to be a whole lot dirtier than I had anticipated
and I am wondering if I am not simply wasting my time.
