Just double-checking. I'd like to help diagnose this if I can, but I don't have iCloud and I haven't seen these behaviors outside of synced folders.

Which Livecode version is Michael using?
Community or Business?

How would the license type affect the save command?

I'm using Community. I'll buy an Indy license if I ever get my project ready to market. I wouldn't think that the license type would matter, though.

My personal stack of notes with an SQLite database saved on my iCloud Drive has functioned for a year with no problems. And no new news to report, since I haven't done any work on my accounting project in the last month or two.

Yesterday, while debugging the script for reading jpeg thumbnails on camera raw files, LC Community stopped responding to save and open commands on Mac.
After, I changed to LC Indy everything worked fine...

I wonder if using a different edition causes the install to use a different prefs file. Corrupted prefs have far too often been at the heart of many otherwise-inexplicable issues.

Is the remote debugger included in Community?

The remote debugger is only included in LC Business (not in Community nor in Indy!)
