What would that do for me? There is no user interaction during the process.
This is only a demo of scattering the changes amongst the buttons, and if other stuff was needed then maybe letting LC see the outside world would be a good idea.

In a case where you are repeating something for x number of times, I think it is pretty handy to know if messages have come or gone is all. There *are* messages other than from user input eh, and some of those might even be important

Certainly that is valid, and mostly I was joshing, but of course if you get a message saying your out of hd space, it might not be so funny
