Or maybe a different printer would work.
What?

The OP has stated s/he is trying to print to PDF.

I appreciate all of the responses.

I never figured out why the print to pdf was not working. But, I dropped the print to pdf, and just used print card and bizzarely it works (and prints to a pdf!). I have no explanation at all, but I am happy.

As for the pngs, I will need to figure this out one day. The snapshot of text, for example, looked all pixelated, and the snapshot of a circle was also not smooth. Approaching a presentation of my app on Monday, so no time to play around, unfortunately! :-)

I don't know if you saw my post here or not, so even though your short of time, I'll ask you to:

List what vers. of Lc your using that produces this jagged look
...which OS your on
...a picture showing this jagged look so I can see what your seeing, since I'm unable to produce it.

Thanks!

I wonder if the OP is deploying a bitmapped font?

Dunno, but since the OP said that a circle was also showing pixelated, I don't that as the issue, and, even if it were, if it were smooth in the app before exporting, it should be smooth after as well.

The only way I get jagged or pixelated edges with those conditions is if I zoom in on whatever the screen shot was taken of. For instance here is a picture of a circle -
Round....
Round....

Here is that picture exported side by side with the original merely close to the same size...
...and round....
...and round....
...and finally, here is that circle enlarged by comparison, which finally shows some pixelation...
...and round we go....
...and round we go....
...so I am curious exactly what is going on in the OP's case to see if it can be duplicated.
