Might be a better idea for Richard and Klaus to just forward the spam messages to Heather until she gets a clue.

I give up! So good-bye for the next time, I can do something better with my time.
Looks like this is a challenge for Spammers, and I really don't want to compete!

After I deleted 200 postings and banned 20 spammers, like today, there are 2 or more new spammers waiting for me in the forum.
And the forum software is SLOW, it takes up to 10 seconds to delete ONE posting!

Now it is up to LiveCode to do something for their users!

They have just to use an updated and better forum software (e.g. Invision Power Board), ...

The forum software was upgraded this morning.

I'm still awaiting elevated privileges which would allow me to ban IPs for spammers. Until this, like Klaus the current method of deleting single messages isn't working for me or anyone else, so I may not be able to devote much time to it.

Once I get access to the tools I'd need to do a truly effective job I'll get back to culling the spam here.

I'm glad to know that the software has been updated. I hope all will be back to normal soon.

The forum software was upgraded this morning.

Not sure what that means. Is that just a new version of the same buggy software? Has it been replaced with something else? Was a captcha plugin installed or will spambots still be able to register and post, leaving the cleanup work to you and Klaus? I can haz PMs again?

OK, looks like the new forums software is working (mostly, only deleted three spammers today so far )!
So I can start to answer questions again instead of deleting spams all day

Is there any way we can clean up our user names? I would really like to go back to being plain old kdjanz the way I am every where else.
