Maybe. What search term yielded that in the results?

I found that if I remove the session ID the link works. Not sure why the session ID is there, maybe something specific to how the Google spider works but I haven't seen them here as long as I've had cookies turned on.

Hi Richard

No session ID here although when I remove the
/phpBB2/
it works. Strange no?

Maybe a change in the htaccess for such an ecvent might be needed - I'd be surprised it it's a one off - there are still links that don't work within the livecode.com domain - I forget to write them down.

Thanks for the help, but those turn out to be the settings I already have.

Your welcome :)

I thought that might be the case, which is why I suggested the rss feed instead, since it is adaptable to whatever reader you use and tends to not take up too much space, as in your situation.

Forgive my naivete, is that the same support you'd go through for regular support questions, i.e. Heather ?

I dunno if it is just here or not, but I used to have the board remembering me so I didn't have to sign in. Since the update, I've had to sign in each time.

Naturally, the first thing I did was delete cookies and check the remember me box again, but still having to sign in each time despite that.

Any ideas?

Do you have cookies enabled?

And when signing in, double-check that the "Remember Me" checkbox is set.

It's working for me here, but I've had issues in the past when either or both of those two elements were not in place.

Might be that the new version has some AI process which creates some synapses connection
labelled "bogs-L4D2" which of course is quite scary:)

More seriously, it works for me too, but that's not a proof.

Thierry

@ Richard -
Yes, first thing I checked was that first site cookies were still enabled, FF updated around the same time, and I'm never sure it is going to honor my previous settings
... Funny thing about that checkbox, though. While I was diagnosing this issue, it appears to uncheck itself  which brings me to ....

LOL, I like that one, my own demented AI process synapses connection. I am going to have that one bronzed  but I think we may have a winner
