My apologies, Klaus. I didn't mean to suggest you were remiss. It's the client company and their investors that seem to have missed this.

I've never been a VC or angel, nor seriously pursued outside investment. But I'm continually surprised by the biz plans they'll throw money at.

Seems all one needs to get investment these days is to toss around the word "cryptocurrency" and suddently it's the 90s dot-bomb bust all over again, money dropping from heaven with no clear plan to ever repay it. ("We don't need revenue, we'll have mindshare!").
