The fact that I was able to carry my extremely complex Devawriter stack from 11 years of development in LiveCode directly over to OpenXTalk without any modification and continue development without any hiccups should be extremely instructive.

Sadly the macOS version isn't code signed, so you will need to use Sentinel <
https://itsalin.com/appInfo/?id=sentinel> to ad-hoc sign it for your computer.
