Graphic Fill In Colour

Post by phaworth » Tue Feb 16, 2010 12:43 am

I have a series of objects on a card that I want to enclose in a rounded rectangle filled with a colour that's different than the fill colour of the card. I drew the rectangle around the objects and defining the Fill colour - no effect. I figured out that I had to set the opaque property of the rectangle - that makes the fill colour appear but all the other objects are now hidden behind the rectangle. I've tried all the combinations of moving the objects forward/to the front and moving the rectangle backwards/to the back but none of them seem to have any effect.

Any ideas?

you should change the layer, it's on the "size & position" part of the inspector. move the graphic that you made to the back (layer one).

Thanks, that works fine. SO what are the Move/Send back/forward items on the object menu for?
