Fixed.
The problem was apparently memory usage. I had a large stack background image (1826x1826), and changing to a small (265x256) image seems to have fixed the problem.

Just upgraded to LiveCode 7.0.4 - problem still happeneing.
Also, the same thing happens when I try to use "Droid Sans Mono".

Note: I can use the "Droid Serif" font in other apps on the tablet, such as WPS Office, but I don't know if they are using the system version, or if they include their own version of the font.

I'm using LiveCode version 7.0.3 When I set the textFont property of a field to "Droid Serif" it works in the windows devel environment (where I have the font installed) but not when I test the app on my Android tablet.
