Re: Testing iOS apps on real iPhone
Yes! I was "terribly wrong" about it. LiveCode does support the most recent X-Code. My problem wasn't with X-Code but with how I had set the permissions.

Re: "The executable was signed with invalid entitlements" er
Yes, I did read what you'd posted above but since I didn't have Beta Version checked in the first place, I thought on first reading your post that what worked for you didn't apply to my situation. However I did reread it... and realized that I needed to re-do my own wildcard app ID. That worked! So,...

Re: Testing iOS apps on real iPhone
Unless I'm terribly wrong about this (and I could be, as I'm relatively ignorant about LiveCode) you may have a problem testing an app developed with LiveCode and actually testing it on a real, physical iPhone. Currently, LiveCode doesn't support the most recent version of X-code, i.e. version 7.2. ...

"The executable was signed with invalid entitlements" error
I'm using LiveCode Community 7.1.2 to write an app for use on my iPhone. I have built a standalone app but when I try to install it in my iPhone on X-code 7.2.1, I get the above error. The error message also says, "The entitlements specified in your applications Code Signing Entitlements do not matc...

I've never programmed anything without getting stuck a million times, Klaus, so I ~will~ be back. Thanks again!

IOS app running in the background
I would like to have an app running on an iPhone which would send an alert at a designated interval of time. For example, if someone needed to take medication at a four hour interval, then the app would *beep* every four hours. This would require the LiveCode app to be running in the background. Is ...

Re: Stack won't open after LiveCode update - please help
I guess I just don't understand this. I bought a commercial form of LiveCode because I wanted to create a commercial product, then supported the launch of the open source version of the software. I downloaded the upgrades as I was made aware of them, thinking they would expand ---not hamper!--- by s...

Stack won't open after LiveCode update - please help
I had my stack open in LiveCode Community, and it was working properly, as always. I closed the stack without saving it, since I hadn't added anything to it. After it was closed, I got a message saying that a new version of LiveCode Community was ready if I wanted to download and install it. I did, ...
