Stack opens up to old version

Hi all,

I sometimes copy and paste programs to modify them for specialized purposes. I've run into a problem with 2 modified versions of an older software. When I try to open those stacks, the original, older version opens up instead. I've tried "clear and remove from memory" and deleting/moving the original, but no luck. Could someone help me with this?
