Is there a way to hide a folder? Neither of the below are working.

set the vis of folder "/path to folder/" to false

Hi shawn,
On Windows you'd shell("attrib +h fullPathToFolder")
might have to add +s not sure.

On Linux and MacOS the equivalent would be to set a dot in front of the folder. You could just move the directory from it's original filename to ".yourfolder".
shell("mv yourfolder .yourfolder")

I'm on RMBP running 10.9.3 w/ VM Ware running Win 7 Ultimate, but I was more thinking of OSX for this.

Or even easier, just use the" rename "command.
