ATEM1 M/E

Post by Da_Elf » Mon Jun 02, 2014 9:06 pm

ive been able to code an interface that controls CasparCG and feels proud of myself. Now im trying to see if i can use livecode to send commands to a blackmagic ATEM1 m/e switcher. Has anyone tried this? i dont get any results when doing a search.

Not sure what this device will accept as an input in terms of hardware, and what it will understand in terms of drivers or frameworks.

I have used the Bonig und Kallenbach gadgets for projects:

They have an RS232 interface that may physically connect to the ATEM device, but you still will have to contend with a driver, which may not exist. You need to contact ATEM and B&K.

Does the ATEM device use DMX 512? Just a thought...
