HC like IDE on iOS

Post by WaltBrown » Tue Sep 02, 2014 12:40 am

I have noted previous posts about creating and posting stacks on iOS without going through the Apple Developer and iTunes process. Has anyone seen Novocard by Plectrum? It appears to be an HC clone that allows stack creation on iOS. I post it not as an ad but as a possible motivator for something similar from LC? It uses a JavaScript like language very similar to HC, a similar set of objects, and a familiar message path. No standalones, stacks must be run in its window.

"a JavaScript like language very similar to HC"

HyperTalk [ Hypercard's language ] is most certainly NOT JavaScript-like.

Runtime Revolution Liveocde's language grew directly out of HC's language.

Probably not a bad idea, next time, when you have an urge to make wildly incorrect statements to check first:

Language isn't the issue
