New Android SDK (Android Studio)

Post by MaxV »

Hello,
Google will launch soon the new Android SDK: Android Studio

Is Livecode compatible with this new SDK?
Can I launch test to this new emulator?

I'm sorry Kalus, I didn't intend to be uneducated.
Do you know if Livecode is already compatible with the new Android SDK?

sorry, that is an english (american?) saying and means something like:
"You can make any guess, but the answer (NO) is obvious!" :D

Which might also answer your last question:
Do you know if Livecode is already compatible with the new Android SDK?

In some contexts it just means "you figure it out".

So how do you go about getting a LC app onto Android? Wer weiß? (doppeldeutig)

But there is a new Android Studio 2.1. How does this affect getting a LC app onto a smart tablet? A standalone would be fine but if your Android users (teens) have Community could they use the authoring tools to modify and save the stacks you provide?

My app Choreographer involves moving buttons to positions. The Authoring tools are faster than the code I wrote to emulate things like selecting some buttons and moving them around & aligning them. The positions can be saved by writing to .txt files but saving each modified stack is easier.

Then you get into wireless communication but that can wait.
