Ubuntu x64 - can not install LiveCode

Post by eduardo12 » Mon Dec 15, 2014 11:13 am

Hi,
I've just downloaded LiveCodeCommunityInstaller-7_0_0-Linux.x86 and I can't install in on my system, which is:
3.13.0-43-generic #72-Ubuntu SMP Mon Dec 8 19:35:06 UTC 2014 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux.

Tried to set it up but nothig (I really mean completely nothing) happen when I'm bouble clicking on it or trying to execute it from the comand line.
Of course rights are correct - 755

Any hints how to do it?
I know my system is 64 bit and LC installer is x86 but I can't find 64 bit version of LC...

thanks

The latest versions of LiveCode can be downloaded from the Downloads page:
http://downloads.livecode.com/livecode/

If you need to run a 32-bit version on a 64-bit OS, you'll need to install the 32-bit compatibility packages as described here:
