could not compile application class standalone saving error

When trying to save as a standalone iPad app on Yosemite with 6.7.1 I get the error "There was an error while saving the standalone application could not compile application class". I can save it fine with 6.6.5, though. I have no idea what to do about this. Has anybody else run into that problem??

Susan, Thanks for your post. You just solved a problem I have been wrestling with. I was trying to compile a file on a new computer OS (yosemite), new xcode version 6.1.1 and new LC version 7.0.1. I get the same error.
When I go back to LC ver 6.6.5 everything works as advertised.

Tom, I since revoked my certificates and got new ones. It was scary, but it did the trick, and now I can build using 6.7.1 The problem was that I was missing the private keys. Here is the link that explains it all. Scroll down to "Removing Signing Identities from Your Keychain". I can't say for sure if this will help you, but it worked for me. Good luck.
