Printing pdf fields border problems

Post by istech » Fri Feb 06, 2015 4:08 pm

Hi Livecoder,

I hope all are well. I have run into a nagging problem with printing .pdf. I have a 20 fields objects and with show border selected.

However I have found keeping the field uniform causes a problem only when printing pdfs.

The fields are fine when on the card but when I print it to .pdf the lines are a lot thicker and not as tidy as on the card. Is there a way to get it as close as possible to the card?

I have deselected everything except for show border with width "1". I have played with the field settings to no end. Either the bottom or side is missing on print or does not

show the border at all after pdf print. Any help would be much appreciated thanks.

The card printing script is direct from the pdf printing lesson.

Using LC version 6.7 5012 CE

Thanks for you time.

Hi.

I have never seen this. Are you saying that the border on one field is larger or on more than one? If only one, the reason I ask is that you may have a field focused when you print, and that would show up as a wider "border"

Hi Craig,

Yes the focus is not on the field. Very strange problem. I have attached screen shots of the issue. 1 is the card and the other is the pdf print of the same card.

Let me know your thoughts on this.

Thanks

PS. Going to re-create the field and see if it solves the issue. But not hopeful.
