Standard of coffee making in alpha 8

Post by richmond62 » Wed Apr 01, 2015 9:57 am

Having donated to the Open Source version of Livecode I am disappointed to say the least
that having been all the way through versions 6 and 7, and having arrived on the shores of
version 8 the ability to make coffee has still not been implemented. I recall, quite clearly, that this
was one of the stretch goals.

Having connected my USB coffee percolater to my Linux box, I am quite unable to get any extant
version of LiveCode to send instructions to the coffee maker, or, indeed, display information re
the stages of the coffee preparation.

This is, I'm afraid, completely unacceptable, and I shall be writing in the strongest terms to all
the shareholders of Runtime Revolution protesting this developmental oversight in the
strongest possible terms.

I'm running a temperature of 39 degrees; so you cannot expect more, sorry.

No no. I'm sure coffee and beer were in the goals and whiskey was the stretch goal.
My LiveCode fermentation is working fine. Look up libBrew and the "See Also"

Réaumur - octogesimal.

Unfortunately my Rankine thermometer is broken.

Thanks, Klaus.

I think you need to get the box addicted to caffeine first before it will even consider making coffee. Give it a slow infusion for a while, and if it doesn't short out completely it may come around.

But to be honest, since you're ill, I'd teach it to make orange juice first.
