Hello,
I am following Create it with livecode with 7.0.4 rc1 on Linux Mint 17.1;
Drag object (controls) from tools palette to cards works normally fine with some exceptions
where object refuses to land on the concerned location... I have in this case to use the menu
Object ==> new control etc...
If I close the stack and open a new (blank) one, the palette drag and drop works again perfectly on this new card ....
Would there be a limit of number of objects that can be manipulated by this tool or am I suffering from
some difficult behaviour of Linux in this case ?
Thanks for your help
best regards

Re: Palette tools drag and drop controls - any limit ???
Oddly enough, after using LiveCode for about 15 years, first on Macintosh, and for the last
10 years on Linux I have NEVER dragged a control out of the Toolbar: I have always
performed a double-click; and with that I have NEVER experienced a problem.

Well, until just now, I have never double-clicked, always dragged. And when I say never, maybe I tried it when I first ran through LC and its tools long ago.
