bug in forum?

Post by RedDeupree »

I get the following error in red
"Your account does not have permission to post links or domain/page references."

when there are no links or domain references in the would be post. Is it possible for it to highlight and/remove things that offend it?

Hi Red,

no bug! :D

You need to have at least 10 postings before you can post links etc. here.

Feel free to email the full text of the rejected content and I'll try to determine why it was mistaken for a link.

How do I post a screen shot?
Scrolled off the bottom of the browser was an option to "Attach a signature" that had been checked and not noticed before, so perhaps that's all it was - I am new to this forum and have not noticed all the possible options or behaviors.

Hi RedDuepree,

apologies if i repeat steps you already know..

click upload attachment > browse > open > find your screenshot > add the file
ex.png
then click where you'd like the image to go, and click "place inline" to add the image.
ex2.png
to see what it looks like click the preview button next to the "submit" button at the bottom.

hope that help!
