My vertical sliders on vista (Aero and other Vista themes) have a *very* small draggable thumb. I can find no way to affect the size of the thumb. It is no larger in width than the actual slider's vertical line (the slider vertical line width). Also, on XP the vertical line and slider are in the middle of the object (I.E. the vertical line for the slider is located at the X position of the loc of the slider object)....but in Vista, the slider line is the left hand side of the object...
Is there a property I'm missing? ...if not, I consider this a bug as the vertical slider looks bad and is difficult to use.
Can anyone concur with this observation, and do you think, like I, that this is a bug? (searched the bug database and found nothing relating to vertical sliders in Vista).
Thanks!
Vista Vertical Slider looks really bad

Ah! ...YES, you are very correct! I am using 2.8.1 and have since checked, and it would seem that from 2.9 and forward, vertical sliders in Vista indeed look A-OK. Unfortunately, there are bugs in 2.9 and forward which critically wound my application. Bug 5397 is a major headache for me, and would require me to write my own ask/answer dialog system which I have been reluctant to do. Bug 7766 is a deal killer because it absolutely breaks major functionality in my app. I can find no work-around for it, so I am stuck with 2.8.1 until it gets resolved.
Thank you so much for pointing this out to me though, I'll have to live with it until AT LEAST 7766 is fixed....
