What does single-stack mean?

Post by hilton » Thu Sep 10, 2015 12:43 am

Hi folks,

I have been doing a bit of fiddling with v8 dp4 using firefox (I cannot get python v3 to do it's thing yet). I have a single stack with a few cards, however, I cannot move from card to card. Is that what single stack means - single stack with single card?

Thanks,
Hilton.

I read it as a single stack file (no external stacks to that file) which may contain substacks used as libraries. As I have successfully build such a beast (a stack containing a substack used as a library) I would expect it to be a bug if you can not move from card to card, or something throwing a script error in your card scripts / stack script when you navigate from card to card.

All the best,

Malte

Yes, that's what I thought, but being relatively new to livecode I just wanted to make sure.

Thanks.

Hi hilton,

If you have a simple test stack which demonstrates the problem, please add it to our bug tracker! Then we can investigate the specific issues that you're having and make sure we fix them. :-)
