They now include working Xcode versions in the release notes for each liveCode version.

The LC 8 release notes also include info about required Android SDK versions.
For LC 8 they are:
Android SDK Platform for Android 4.0.3 (API 15)
Android SDK Platform Tools
Android SDK Build Tools
You may want to download more packages if you want to set up emulators.
This info isn't in the release notes for earlier versions of LC. For those (including LC 7.x) you need SDK Platform for Android 2.2, API 8 with revision 2 (or later) instead of 4.0.3, as well as the SDK Platform Tools and the SDK Build Tools. If you install both 2.2 and 4.0.3 SDK Platform Tools you'll be covered for any version of LC.
You also must have Java installed, and it has to be the older one from Apple rather than the current Oracle download. If you need a link I'll look it up.
