Is there a way to use a key to do something to an application when it is not selected?
For example, say I'm using Google Chrome, and if I press 'Q' my application windows will pop-up.
Thank You.

Hi SomDude,
1. welcome to the forum!
2. I'm afraid this is not a Livecode question or issue, maybe there are third party applications
that provide some system wide keyboard shortcuts.
Is this for Mac or Windows?
For Mac I know about Quickkeys:

No idea about Windows, sorry.
Best

FWIW, Chrome is not (yet) a supported deployment platform for LiveCode. At the moment supported OSes include OS X, Windows, Linux, iOS, Android, servers, and (unofficially) Raspberry Pi.

Yes, Richard, but SomDude does not really want to run his app on "Chrome OS"!FourthWorld wrote:FWIW, Chrome is not (yet) a supported deployment platform for LiveCode.
