Hi Kevin,

it would be nice and very good style, if you would take a look at all your other postings
and maybe leave a little "thank you" if the have been answered sufficiently.

To your question:
Sure this is a screenshot from Livecode?
Looks more like Illustrator or something 8)
The line tool in LC is only capable of drawing straight lines!

Klaus.

I agree that it does not look like an LC screenshot. But if you create an oval grc with the arcAngle set to about 150 and the start angle set to about 300, you can get an elliptical arc that is similar to Kevin's. But do you know how to lose the radii? The effective points of such an oval contain them, and if you muck about eliminating the points that define those radii, LC simply re-connects what remains.

Even if I get make a freehand grc, which starts out as an "open" shape, and set the effective points to those of the oval grc, LC connects the endpoints, so that a closed elliptical arc is created.

In other words, as Kevin might have asked, can LC make an elliptical arc at all? Not close the loop?

I was not only asking for me but for all who had answered your questions so far and you did not respond to at least 50 % of these postings!
And that is nothing to LOL about in my opinion!

@Klaus.

A bit etiquette in general!
