Simulator only opening to iPhone 4 in LC

Post by ValiantCuriosity » Sun Jul 03, 2016 10:19 pm

How do I get the iPhone 6 and 6+ simulators to show up in LC?

-- I've looked at the Standalone Applications Settings, but don't see a way to deal with the simulator there.

-- I've tried loading the simulator from Xcode and setting it to iPhone 6, but that doesn't carry over into LC.

When I run my test app in LC, even though it is designed on the LC iPhone 6 Plus template, the simulator opens to the iPhone 4 every time.

What am I missing?

TIA :)

Hi Rachel

This is how it works for me

1) Get onto LC & Open Myapp

2) LC > Development > Test Target > IPhone Simulator

3) LC > Test

Then the Simulator opens running Myapp

4) Simulator > Hardware > Device > IOS9.3 > Select from a list of 12 iPhone/iPad models

Regards

Kim

Hi Kim,

That got it. I'm used to working in Xcode, but this approach is a bit different. Without your help, I'd probably never have figured that one out. :o
