Re: Beta Version
Hi Simon,
This checkbox allows users to add a beta testing entitlement to their iOS applications, which is required if you want to use the "TestFlight Beta Testing" service of the iTunes Connect.
If you check this checkbox, make sure you sign your app with an **App Store distribution** Provisioning Profile for building your app. You can't use development or ad-hock distribution profile if you want to use the iTunes Connect beta testing service.
More info about the "TestFlight Beta Testing" service:

Best,
Panos

Re: Beta Version
Many thanks Pano for your prompt and clear answer. As a suggestion may be it deserves some explanation on LC documentation.
