I have successfully made an ios app file. I registered the phone at the ios developer site. I Air Dropped the file to my iPhone 6 phone. How do I open the app and test the program on my phone?

Hi DR White,
I have not ever used Air Drop to install an app on an iPhone. I use Xcode, and to open the app I just tap on the app icon, as I do to open any app in the iphone.
