Auto uninstall previous version

Hi,

first time that i see that while installing LC9DP6 -->LC9DP5 is being uninstalled automatically.
Is this only with the DP versions as of now? as i have not seen this before.

Hope this will not be trend with stable or RC versions, because i like to have always at least one previous version still installed.
And if this will be the new trend, can it be asked if we want to have a previous version to be deinstalled?

this has never been the case and I do not experience this with LC 9 dp6 nor any other version!?
What platform are you on?

Guten tag her Klaus,

on Win7Pro.
I always do Install for the current user only.
And right after i clicked install it removed DP5, also showed the progressbar while deinstalling. As normally i have to do this manually.
That's why i was surprised.

Sure you didn't accidentally start the Windows LC uninstaller, which comes with a nice progress bar etc.?

Yes absolutely sure.
I only started the DP6 install.

I always first install the new version, then when ready, uninstall the old, unless i want to keep it.

Maybe it is something new.
It also show a text: Uninstalling previous version.

Maybe someone else knows.
