magnify an image crash bug confirmed

When I set the magnify of an image to true and I click on the magnify palette LiveCode (v. 8.x and 9.x) crashes.
Is there someone who noticed this ?

I had never seen the magnify property before, but it definitely crashes (immediately quits and closes all open windows) in LC 9.02 RC1 on Ubuntu 18.04 when I click the palette.

Could you please file a bug report, and include some more details (e.g. which tool have you selected when you click on the palette and it crashes)

I cannot replicate it here, tested with LC 9.0.1 and 9.0.2 RC1 (MacOS 10.13.4).

I would assume this happens only on Linux, based on ClipArtGuy's comment, but I believe Jean-Marc is on MacOS.

Yes OS X 10.13 LC 8.x 9.x
Here is a simple stack to test it
It seems i am alone to get it on MacOS, i wait for test by other before file a bug report

This also crashes in LC 9.01 on Windows 10 64-bit, I'd say it's safe to file as a bug.

Confirmed on Win7 as well. clicking on the magnified palette for sure crashes it completely, Lc disappears like a fart in the wind.

One click away from total devastation!

Heh, as a side note, the image library doesn't show on some 'nix distros.

Magnify works if you select pencil tool and you click on your image with command key.
But never click at the zoomed image of magnify palette.
Good news, no crash on LC 4.5, OS X 10.6.8
