mergAVcam focus mode on iOS

The iOS cameraControl has the ability to set the focusmode.

Question: since there is no focus mode setting in mergAVcamSet, does anybody know what the mergAV camera focusing behavior is? Is it "continuous", or does it focus only once when the request to take a picture is issued, ...or does it not focus at all (like cameraControl on android)?
