Not Quite Quitting

Post by richmond62 » Wed Sep 18, 2019 6:58 pm

So, here we are again . . . :D

My Devawriter Pro is getting severely trashed by me . . . or, in poncy computer programmer speak:

Devawriter Pro is going through its 5th SDLC (frankly that sound just too pompous to be taken seriously). 8)

Being a "forward looking guy" (cough, cough) I am doing the work in LiveCode 9.5.0.

ANYWAY . . . come the standalone's inbuilt quit button / and/or / doing a keyboard CTRL/CMD Quit things are going queer . . . 8)

On Quit (either method) I get a substack that is normally hidden flashing on-screen twice and then the program just "sits there" and has to be Force Quit (this only verified independently on Macintosh).

NO code has been changed re the QUIT routine since I transitioned from LiveCode 9.0.4 to 9.5.0 . . .

One reason why Trans-gendered people might feel right at home in Bulgaria.

One reason why Western Europeans who are Transgendered might find it useful to learn the Cyrillic alphabet.

Ouch: Time for a correction.

This does NOT happen with the source stack, only with the standalone.

Add the error dialog option in your standalone settings. That will allow you to get details about the execution error causing it to stop executing.
