Loading Screen

Howdy!

My web app is getting pretty heavy. Does anyone know an easy way to put a loading bar while the page is loading the engine and standalone?

I'm creating the standalone in HTML5.

Thank you!

I do not know how to do what you ask.

Just chiming in because all loading bars I have ever seen, even on a Mac, are barely able to apprehend either the rate or extent of the task they are reporting. That is why you see such bars either shoot to the finish from about halfway, (Mac) or shoot to near the finish and loiter there forever (Windows).

The question is how does one measure the total load time before it actually, er, loads, and how to notice waypoints along the way, so you can, say, update the thumbPos of a scrollbar. Are there messages of some kind that LC can trap while the load is in progress?
