Hi.
Likely a "form" variety of a DG can do this, but it really does not resemble an Excel spreadsheet. Is it too much to add a separate field above the DG itself, and put your title there? Then you have complete control of the look and feel of that field.

I did think of that, but not sure how to link the horizontal scrolling.
Vertical is good as the "header" would always be on the top.
