after 153 days, 2 hours, 16 minutes and 7 seconds since the opening of this thread and after 65 days, 2 hours, 17 minutes and 37 seconds since my email to the Big Boss, no response has come.
After that much time, a re-send would seem useful to at least account for the possibility that the first email never arrived. Sadly, spam mitigation means some 5-10% of all legitimate email never arrives at its intended destination.
As for this thread, one hour per week is all it would take a staffer at any company to monitor most of not all relevant venues discussing the company's product, replying where helpful. That modest investment almost always shows a measurable benefit in reduced attrition rates, along with occasional new sales.
Modern product management is community building; with a product that's a platform more so, as the value of the product is determined as much by the size of its active user base as by its features.
