Register as Google developer

Hi all,

i want to publish my first app in the playstoe. When i wanted to register at google as developer, i had an error, because my card was not accepted, allthough it is a Mater Card Debit Card. Is a credit card obligatory for google? And also for Livecode, when I wnat to by a License there?

Hi Silvius,

it looks like a credit card is the only way to pay Google, that also hinders me from doing that. :-/
But you can buy things from Livecode and pay via bank transfer (Überweisung).

Some credit cards won't work outside of the country where they originated. You might need to authorize the card for payment with the credit card company. Google also has some info here:

I gave up credit cards years ago, but find that my Debit card works well, and
has the added advantage that I don't end up up the spout financially.

Most debit cards in the US have the same restrictions, but check with the bank. When we traveled to the UK we had to notify our bank for clearance, otherwise they would deny payments.
